Race will require 4 stops with big windows of opportunity to come in. 22% of the race is generally yellow. Teams will lose 2+ laps on green stop due to the short nature of the track. New tires provide lap time & passing advantages, (so expect teams not to stay out on old tires as soon as they hit their desired fuel number, because they'll be losing time every lap on old tires)

The team ended up flying out some fabricators from California to build a large rear wing. The Dihedral design was removed though we did see a resurgence with the idea of Xwings many years later in F1.

A lot of PR speak, but Jay Frye is a straight shooter for the most part. He doesn't promise what he can't deliver.(When he talks about McLaren, assume he's talking about a 500 entry)
Jay is responsible for a lot of good decisions since Derrick Walker left.
Derrick himself was a good man, very passionate about the sport, but teams didn't like his plan he had laid out, so he was given the boot.

Ratings from this weekend.

Important to pay attention to which programs were on NBC and which were on NBCSN.
NASCAR was always going to have better ratings, even Xfinity, but the fact Indycar was even close to Xfinity is a positive sign. I remember when Indycar would get half that rating on NBCSN.
