haha, fuck off. Leicester City (The Foxes) are one of the most unique, exciting teams to have ever played in the Premier League. Founded in 1884 as Leicester Fosse, we are one of the oldest clubs in the entire world and every year has been a roller coaster ride, a roller coaster fun enough to be suitable for Twinlakes in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire.
Leicester, in their short stays in the Premier League, have introduced the following memorable superstar players to the fans of the division
> Emile Heskey
> Muzzy Izzet
> Robbie Savage
> Neil Lennon
> Jamie Vardy
> Riyad Mahrez
> N'Golo Kante
> Kasper Schmeichel
This is just a few of the pieces of gum that Leicester have given the fans to chew on in their short stays in the division. Exciting and memorable players. We have also had several exciting matches. For example
>Leicester 5 - 3 Man United
>Man City 1 - 3 Leicester
>Derby 0 - 4 Leicester
>Leicester 4 - Leeds
These are just some examples of the thrilling matches that Leicester have been involved in. Indeed, whenever Leicester are in the Premier League it has been estimated that violent crime in Bangkok is down by 5% due to the people coming off the streets to watch Leicester, at King Power HQ. And the fun doesn't end there. We are managed by Craig Shakespeare, the former England Assistant Manager. Former England assistant managers always make for exciting times when placed into management positions and I have no doubt Shakey will be no different.
Oh, we also won the Premier League and deluded small clubs like Spurs never have.

>Former England defender Sol Campbell is so frustrated by the refusal of clubs to give him a manager's job - or even an interview - that he is willing to "start at a non-league club" and work without a salary.
Is it any wonder no-one will interview him for a manager's role. Campbell is a grade A twat.
Case in point:
>A few weeks back, the sports minister, Helen Grant, arranged a summit at Whitehall to discuss why there are so few black managers and coaches in the game. Senior figures from the Football Association were there, along with the Premier League, the Professional Footballers’ Association and the Football League. There were guests from Kick It Out and Show Racism the Red Card and Sol Campbell also received an invitation, as an ex-England player who is frustrated, understandably, by the lack of opportunities.
>What Campbell does not appear to realise, perhaps, is that the best way to get a point across is without ego or too much self-esteem. On this occasion he wanted the FA’s technical director, Dan Ashworth, to explain why Gary Neville had been fast-tracked through the system to become one of Roy Hodgson’s assistants with the England team. Ashworth started talking about the favourable impression Neville had made on Hodgson and the players and was running through the processes that were involved when Campbell put out his hand to interrupt him. This is when things started to get a little strange.
>“But I am Sol Campbell.”
>As you might imagine, that isn’t a particularly easy sentence to come back from. Ashworth did his best to continue because, well, what else could he do? But it is fair to say the entire room had been engulfed in awkwardness and when Ashworth stopped talking there was another tumbleweed moment. Campbell, hand out, ended the conversation in the same way he had started it.
>“But I am Sol Campbell.”
>He was correct. But whether he gets an invitation the next time there is one of these discussions is not entirely clear.

>>77004969
Alex Ferguson wasn't much of a player, neither was Mourinho or Wenger
>>77004969
>>77005021
Sven was boring as fuck but he was happy to grind out 1-0 wins. We would get fucked by penalties or refs. Now? Now we have quality talent but a manager with no fucking clue.
He's got less than 50% win rate from 9 games.
>>77005067
I'm currently playing Barca. Won 100% in league, drew only once in entire campaign (against Spurs, 2-2, in CL Group Stages, then beat them 8-3 aggr in KO stages). I've just signed loads of 15 year old wonderkids and hoping my U19 team rapes. One of the other wonderkid signings got promoted to Barca B.
>>77005053
Point still stands really, more managers from Glasgow have won the EPL than English in the last 30 years. We don't give our talented managers a chance with big clubs.
>>77005054
kek, to lazy tho and I don't enjoy LLM to much and mostly just play in spain
>>77005091
rip. I got a soft one but I always focus on poaching young players to keep my self interested so I'll prolly abondon save after I win the league
>>77004751
>English manager won the EPL
Never happened/
>>76999761
Levy is uniroinically going to jew City into panic buying Walker for £100 million.
>>77005212
not true, a liverpudlian won the eritrean premier league in 2003 i think
>>77005114
>Now we have quality talent but a manager with no fucking clue
We had a much better squad back when Sven was manager. Right now we have a very weak central midfield, meme CBs and a striker who only plays well at club level.
>>77005294
and people said Levy dun focked op when Dani alves was linked with City
>>77004935
Glad I decided not to upgrade to FM17. I usually only play even numbers though as I like doing 30-40 season saves.
>>77005391
Except for the brexit thing I think 17 is great. THey really improved AI sqaudbuilding
>>77005096
I know but if you're being managed by a guy you grew up watching it becomes personal and bound to change your perception. say for example lampard was given the job, without doing anything he'd instantly command more respect
you're right most great managers weren't successful players, makes sense given they built their way up on raw character and management skills alone
>>77005363
And a blank refusal to notice how shit Joe Hart is, Butland or Foster would be far less fuck up prone.
>>77005436
This annoys me the most. Hart has always choked at major tournaments for England and yet he's the unquestionable first choice keeper.
Literally doesn't matter how bad he fucks up. Pep did the right thing forcing him out, just chose the wrong replacement.
>>77005526
This.
>Wales game
He was at fault for letting a 40 yard freekick in
>Iceland game
At fault for both of the goals, a world class GK would have stopped them both.
He then had an amazing game with an insane save against Slovakia I think and he was basically given carte blanche.
He then fucked up twice (TWICE) against Scotland and we got super lucky to draw that.
Thankfully he was dropped for France and was it Pickford in the goal first half made two good saves but didn't palm them away far enough.
>>77005096
Ferguson was pretty damn good, great record for Dunfermline, Rangers screwed him over and kicked him out when he married a Catholic, pathetic but true.
Any manager with a backbone kicks troublemakers out when they won't take a telling, no matter the reputation, although occasionally you get a cunt like Sherwood.
>>77005363
>meme CBs
Whole defence is a joke really. Cahill our most senior defender was dummied by an Icelandic Ajax reject, no fullbacks in the country are even close to the level of Cole and Neville and absolute shitters like Glen Johnson are still getting picked.
>>77005632
You're forgetting the World Cup where he made less saves than goals conceded.
>>77005632
> two good saves
>didn't palm them away far enough
So they weren't good saves, they were bad saves.
Think you're reaching a little to shit on Hart here la
>>77005695
I really like Walker for England tbf. He has pace, strength and can actually put in a decent cross from time to time. Bertrand and Rose aren't too bad either. Certainly not on the same level as Cole or Neville but still decent.
>>77005363
>a very weak central midfield
>Tfw you remember that our current central midfield is Livermore and Dier. Even when everyone is fully fit it's Henderson and Dier
Kill me.
blaming it all on >english goalkeeping doesnt really address the lack of quality elsewhere
although there are decent full backs, and deli ali, kane and sterling are likely to become great assets for england, im really struggling to think of any proper talent
the only voice on the pitch ive heard in the past 2/3 years is hart
>>77005412
How? I skipped 17. Never really got into 16 either, but loved 12, 14 and 15. I'll probably get 18 but I hate playing on a toaster. Brexit thing sounds interesting.
>>77005737
Yeah Walker's been impressive, just wonder why it's taken him so many years to step up his game. Just annoying that the one redeeming aspect England used to have was a world class back 4. They still fucked up, but nowhere near as badly as the modern team.
>>77005710
Mate, Pickford made two great saves but no defender was able to clear it and it went in. That's on the defence not Pickford. Hart wouldn't have even touched the original shot and it'd have gone in. Mong.
>>77005412
You're an idiot, the Brexit rules won't be applied until FM20.
>>77005806
The AI actully build sqauds that win things. Given I don't play to long saves tho usally 4-10 seasons. They've built a brexit simulator.
You can get a soft one = kind easier changes or if you're unlucky a hard one with you unable the play your foreign players the next day. But there are a bunch of different options.
>>77005867
say what? they simulate it
you can read more here:

>>77005792
If we don't have the talent we don't have the talent. But there's no point in continuing to play a shit player just because he shouts pointless buzzwords in the tunnel.
>>77005808
I dunno m8, I'd say our current team probably falls in the top 15-20 best teams in world football where as that generation were easily top 5. They were just massive chokers. Imagine having a team of Owen, Rooney, Beckham, Gerrard, Lampard, Scholes, Hargreaves, Terry, Ferdinand, Cole and Neville and being unable to get further than the last 8.
I think Sven was just shit at tactics, I mean look at how he was unable to work a system where Gerrard and Lampard could play together or drop one of them for Scholes and stop playing him on the fucking wing.
>>77005915
>say what? they simulate it
just ignore him, he's the shitposter who calls everyone a mong
>>77006050
he's a bit rude desu
>>77005917
yeah, just need someone on the pitch talking, ideally in the back line
id take micheal dawson at this stage
>>77005915
>The AI actully build sqauds that win things
Would make a refreshing change for me. I manage a club for 10 years, sign loads of amazing regens then get bored after winning evening all the time. That team then continues to dominate after I leave until the regens hit their 30s and they fail to replace them properly.
>>77006121
they've definitely improved that aspect
i'm about 10 years into a save at the moment and the big teams have decent squads of mostly 26-30 year olds and a few promising youngsters
>Mou buys flop fodder James
>Chelsea wont sell Matic now that Woodward fucked them out of the Lukaku deal
>No chance Levy sells Dier
>Should be chasing Fabinho but will probably get cucked out of the deal
>Line up with a Pogba/Herrera/Fellaini midfield in the UCL next season
I got a bad feeling about this boys
>>77006121
I've notcied a positive change they are far from perfect but much better imo.
Threads soon done lads and I'm going to bed. See you later in another thread lads.
>>77005915
What? There is no effect on transfers until FM20 because that's when the Free Movement clause ends is what I was saying. Brexit happens but it's irrelevant to transfer system because, as I said, there is a 2 year waiting period until the effect is over.
>>77006050
I have no fucking idea who you are but you're a cunt.

Hopefully Henderson can step up. I don't rate him as a player but hope he can at least be a good captain.
>Zlatan doing his recovery work at Carrington

>Zlatan and Lukaku up front

After signing a striker we badly need a CM/DM. After those 3 Carrick is our only real back up and he was looking really shit at the end of the season. Then after Carrick possibly Fosu-Mensah?

>>77006458

>>77006407
Rashford's only going to have Lukaku for competition for the majority of next season. Plus he can play anywhere across the front 3. Plus Utd have CL again so plenty of important games. He'll get lots of playing time; more than last season.
>mfw gonna say mong every time now so people attack somebody who isn't me
>mfw gonna purposefully attack Danes now
>>77006508
Rashford should be played centrally as I think he's gonna be the partner for Kane in the future. Unless we're doing 3-4-3 or 4-3-3 then maybe not. Honestly would prefer 4-4-2.
>>77006040
>I think Sven was just shit at tactics
He definitely mishandled Hargreaves, fans disliking him for "not being English" didn't help either. IIRC he was fully fit for two tournaments and spent nearly all of them benched, ironically by the worst tackling English midfielder ever. Never understood why he was treated that way when he was the clear solution to the CM problem.
>>77006383
We got Blind too amusing Mou actually wants to start using him
I unironically think we should give Borthwick-Jackson a chance at left back too
>>77006550
Mou would be stupid not to go two upfront for the majority of Old Trafford games next season. There's no point putting out a balanced line up when the other team are just going to sit on their box for 90 minutes.
Lads it all got a bit serious in here it seems, just popping on to post the freshest memes from the web.
But first, what the fuck does this mean? I saw it with the wording
>Coincidence?
What does this mean?

>>77006614
Tierney from celtic is being looked at for left back, mourinho has been to watch him.
>>77006654
Actually there isn't many memes, just old pictures. 26 years ago they signed their deals.
>>77006679
Ahhhh. I get it now.
>>77006614
Fucking double-barrelled names. Why is it a thing now? It makes listening to commentary a nightmare.
>>77006600
Kek. I remember how everyone use to think Hargreaves was shit. I think the main problem was that he didn't play in the Premiership at that time so most England fans didn't watch him play much. He was literally seen as like a Cleverly or Livermore sort of player by England fans until he was actually given a chance in a tournament and was the only player who actually turned up.
>>77006614
CBJ has no chance now. He looked very good under LVG and had an amazing cross for a fullback but he has spent most of the season in the reserves for Wolves (something about them getting a new manager mid season who didn't like him) and I doubt Mou will give him a chance.

m8 I was even wanting Gareth Barry at the 2014 WC. Just someone to sit and hold so we don't get caught on the break. Of course Hodgson instead plays Gerrard and Henderson who spend all game in the opposition box and we concede to a counter, twice.
Then to top it off he keeps his job and 3 million quid salary. What do the FA even do
