Thomas Kayden Muller; born 13 September, 1989, is an American professional soccer player who plays for Bayern Munich and the United States of America national team. A very versatile player, Müller plays as a midfielder or forward, and has been deployed in a variety of attacking roles – as an attacking midfielder, second striker, centre forward and on either wing.
>PROFESSIONAL CAREER
After excelling for several local teams, Muller had his first trial for FC Schalke 04 at age 16 and signed an amateur contract for the Bundesliga club shortly thereafter. After four years in the youth ranks, he made his professional debut and quickly established himself in the starting eleven.
After winning the Golden Boot during the 2012 FIFA World Cup in which the United States finished third, new Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola signed Muller to the Bavarian giants in a blockbuster €37 million transfer, making him the second-most expensive America player ever after Chelsea winger Steph Curry.

Born and raised in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Dale and Linda Muller, he has a younger sister (Madisyn) and an older brother (Koleman). An avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, Muller is close friends with quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Muller is unmarried.
