Richie Porte made a strategic mistake in showing his hand ahead of the decisive final climb in the fifth stage of the Tour de France, according to three-time champion Greg LeMond.
The Australian's BMC Racing team took up the pressure of controlling the peloton all day long, a move that in cycling often suggests the leader is going for the stage win.
Also: Teams take control of the peloton when they want to set up a massive sprint or when they are defending the yellow jersey.

With proper tools PFBBs really aren't any harder to work on than threaded BBs. People claim that they squek and keep making noises but I've never had a squeaking PFBB on any of my bikes. If your PFBB isn't silent then either the frame is shitty and the tolerances are off or your mechanic fucked up.

Dennis Ritter: A sports journalist who enjoys cycling and rides a lot himself

Rolf Sorensen: Former Danish rider, you might know him? Great knowledge about the 80-90's race and riders of that era

Jorgen Leth: All knowing wisdom of an old man, who has followed the TdF for 50 years and knows almost everything about France and the Tour - He's the one talking about the areas they pass, the buildings and the history.

Chris Anker Sorensen has taken Rolf's spot in the commentator room for a few stages this year, he's great, as he knows a lot of the current riders personally and how everything is working and connected in the current year of cycling, contrary to Rolf, who rode 15-20 years ago.

I used to be a swimmer competing at a relatively high level. They teached us to make sure to hit the wall as hard as possible when finishing; if it's close the one hitting the finish wall the hardest usually takes it.

So it's both that and the fact German TV is broadcasting the TDF again, so the corrupt French just gave it to Kittel for the heck of it.
