Kind of the problem with the Celtics the last couple of years. They never had a great starting 5, but they had a reasonable deep bench of rotational players so they could float off of that. But whenever they got into the playoffs, they got exposed hard.

Harden+CP3+Melo does give them a fuckton of offensive firepower, though. Melo likes to chuck but he can be pretty efficient a lot of the time, especially when he's not the primary option and can pick his spots. I'm not sure if it's enough to win a shootout with the Warriors, especially with neither Harden nor Melo playing defense, but we already know that the Rockets want to outscore the Warriors rather than clamp down on them, so getting Melo's not a bad idea for them.
