6/9...not a great week, bit disappointed Essendon weren't able to pull of an upset but that's footy I guess.

My girls also had a really good win today inching out a nailbiter against one of the better teams in the comp. We weren't that great at the start of the year, a lot of girls are new to the game coming from various other sporting backgrounds like athletics and basketball. But I'm really proud of their effort today, some of them have really good scope for growth and I can see potential in a few playing AFLW in years to come.

I think you misunderstood me. The ultimate goal for any club is a hip, that's what the whole fucking league is built around. Yes, you need to put the building blocks in place of establishing a style that wins you more games than you lose but if you aren't aiming for the flag you'll never get it, if you aren't establishing a winning culture that craves a flag they why are you playing, let alone coaching what is so hard about that to see?
