Is 22 too old to pick up boxing?
i don't know
>>76812439
if you goal is to compete professionally, then i would say yes.
i'm sure it's still good as an exercise.
>>76812439
if you already have the physique, yes.
Anthony Joshua just heem'd Klitschko and he started at 18
>>76812474
you are gonna be the one that saves me
How about 28?
>>76812533
No I don't want to do it professionally.
>>76812539
I absolutely don't have the fitness.
>>76812439
just get into MMA instead, the talent pool is virtually nonexistent so you could start at 25 and still be ok, here is what you gotta do:
>move to the US
>take steroids
>take some amateur level boxing and hue-jitsu classes
>convince dana white to let u join his entertainment company
you're now ready to become a MMA """world champion"""
>>76812439
If you don't plan on doing any physical sport professionally, age is not a question
to become a professional? yes, way too old.
Maravilla Martinez started at 25 and became world champion
>>76812439
No, I started at 22, and it's good fun. The amount of people who actually box is so small that it's still a pretty tight-knit and small community of people who are happy that you show an interest in their passion, and want to help you enjoy the sport. Get down to your local club and give it a try.

>I absolutely don't have the fitness.

hey atze
boxing is definitely good for you, it will get you in great shape and give you great confidence
but if you decide to do it get your own gloves (they're not too expensive), DO NOT USE THE GYM GLOVES
good luck with your journey fotze
