Long story:
- in France, football is a sport played by the poors
- almost all blacks are poors so they almost exclusively play football
- most blacks are very passionate about the game
- most blacks live near Paris (Île-de-France), region which have a very high density of local clubs
- so blacks are very early put in a very competitive environment
- this leads to talented black kids who are immediately scouted
- seeing that, their fathers (because most of our black kids still have their fathers) become very hopefull for their kids
- they push them more and more, football is a very very serious business
- at 13, most skilled black kids from Paris literally play their lives on the pitch

Why don't whites play football?
Look, here in France Frenchman always want to show to their neighbours that they are better than them (I know it can surprise you but we are like that). So instead of choosing a popular hobby we always choose the upperclass hobby. So middleclass will play tennis, judo or horseriding, just to show up.
I know a couple, very nice, tall, handsome, both vets (animal doctors), very good earnings. The woman is from noble family. They have 3 sons. Oldest is passionate about football, brings a ball everywhere. But they don't let him go into a club. Instead he does rugby and judo (+trumpet), same with the 2 other kids. As the kids are tall, I asked the woman "what about football?", she didn't even answer and made a cringy face.
Also, there are skilled white kids, but they give up football to focus on their studies, a sports carreer being incertain.

Not really. Senegal got lucky in that match. Sweden hit the woodworks et cetera. Also in the same cup we beat Nigeria 2-1 at the group stage.

It's known that Sweden had a huge problem with generational shift and the fact that we even made it to the WC let alone past the group stage was seen as a miracle.

We were the underdogs in that cup and was expected to finish last in our group vs England, Argentina and Nigeria.

Now a days Sweden regularly beat African teams with our C-squad composed solely of Allsvenskan players (our A and B squads are composed of players from the stronger European leagues).
