it's not a links course, it's a farmland course, architects call it a 'heartland course'

it has a similar colour palette to a links course, but it doesn't run like one, and it's not built into the natural lay of the land like one. honestly it's right in the middle between a links course and a traditional parkland course.

it's been alright, to be honest, it has just thrown up a shitty leaderboard

chambers bay was the worst course to host a major in 20 years and yet somehow it created a stunning leaderboard with tons of drama
