If the plan is to get that top player That will be one of the top 3 or 5 in the league that is not in this draft. If you can move this asset forward and maybe gain on it do it. You may as well push it forward as you can't beat GSW or the Cavs in the next 3-4 years anyway.

They need to get Fultz securing their guy for the future, make a big splash in this year's free agency for someone like Hayward and a big man, turn your 6 gorrillion assets into 1 or two allstar players and you're challenging.
