Is this a real thing cause I have so many questions? Why is the pitcher right next to the batter? Why is the catcher in the infield/outfield? So the batter hits the ball and then runs left to 1st? Why does 1st, 2nd and 3rd base pretty much make a right triangle? Why are there 2 shortstops and can you make one into a center fielder? Are there any balls and strikes? Is it still 3 outs? Does the pitcher just throw the ball straight in the air, then get the hell out the way and if so, can he throw the ball as high as he wants to?

There are tons of defence formations. If there is baserunner at 1st base, right ss move as centerfielder and left ss goes nearby 1st base. Lot of variations this case too.
