When are people going to realize that basketball is a team game? Jordan dropped 60 on the Celtics in the playoffs and still lost. Great individual performances mean jackshit if one's teammates are carrying their own weight, especially against a 12-deep monster like Golden State. When Kyrie Irving is the only one playing consistently well, how is LeBron supposed to win? When Stephen Curry is out-rebounding Tristan Thompson, what can be done?

Outside of Kyrie Irving, the only two players who managed to string together back-to-back decent performances in The Finals were JR Smith, who helped put the Cavs in a 2 game hole by not showing up at the start of the series, and Kevin Love, who had a few decent scoring and rebounding games, but shot like shit and played zero defense. The bench was terrible; Richard Jefferson had averaged the most ppg between them with 5.8.

I don't give a shit which player, past or present, you would swap LeBron for in this series; it would still end in a loss. And I'm not even a LeBron apologist. I just hate when people act like one player is all that matters when there are 9 other players on the court, too.
