the way they schedule games is absolutely retarded now. the old schedules were done by an elderly couple and they made sense. since the 2005 season, they've been done by computer and they suck shit.

the mariners played 2 games in colorado, then colorado played 2 games in seattle. minnesota was in seattle last week, now seattle is in minnesota this week.

What does everybody think about the draft pick? As much as we need pitching, I can't be disappointed when Jerry picks a line drive hitting, athletic, good baserunning, good defensive 1st basemen. Especially instead of the typical power hitter 1st baseman.

This is one reason why I wish they'd get rid of interleague play. Having to jam a bunch more teams into the schedule means:
shorter series, which leads to these weird home and home series
only seeing a team once a year in any given city, which leads to huge waves of opposing fans in your home park
and more travel time in general.

We've had interleague play for over 20 years. Bring back the old way and create a true AL vs NL difference.
