Most embarrassing thing that has happened to you when playing sports ?

>somehow made it onto HS varsity lacrosse
>completely fucked up repeatedly in my first ever game, nervous as hell, kept throwing the ball away, dropping it, etc.
>coach subbed me out, told me to take my gear off, then at halftime made me stand in front of the whole team while he cursed me out

2006 world cup, was watching one of the games with school friends (4 girls were there btw) and could not contain a big ol fart
I just froze in place, just stayed put in the couch bc any move would've made it far worse, and hoped everyone would have forgotten it by the end of the match

Tipped a shot onto the post only to have it rebound in off my face, jumped up to catch a tame bouncing shot only to have it go through my legs and in, and as a child inexplicably playing on full sized pitches, having an outfield player take goal kicks because I couldn't welly it further than about a quarter of the way up the pitch.

Goalkeeper truely is the loneliest position.

years later, my dad told me he was glad i stopped playing because i was terrible and he got nervous every time a ball was hit to me.

Never pitched again after that, and I pretty much hated baseball from that point on.

In 8th grade I went into the game at receiver and we changed the snap count to "on 2" and I false started two consecutive times before the coach took me out of the game

i was 12 playing football with some friends from my neighborhood and dribbled to be 1v1 against the gk
the gk was a kinda cute girl so i decided to shoot not so hard but she blocked my shot and everyone laughed at me

i played hockey growing up and the richer city that lived next to us was our big rival, naturally. in high school,
i played varsity, but i wasnt very good, i was effectively the 7th d. when we played the rival school though, yhere was this one blonde kid who was basically perfect looking like a ken doll. in the first game my grandpa went to (he raised me) the perfect looking kid hit me in open ice so hard that i blacked it out. then i cried so hard that snot was coming
from my nose, my coach was even embarrased. fast forward a month or so, i come home from my friends house after sleeping over for a few days in the summer and the perfect blonde kid is getting head from my sister on the couch. they didnt notice me come in so i just quietly slunk up to my attic room and cried.

Played an entire little league season and never got a single hit
