In the first book of Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy, "Inferno," Dante describes the structure of hell as consisting of nine levels, or "circles." In these circles the wicked are punished by God for the crimes against man, God, and nature that they committed on earth. each circle more horrible and torturous than the last. Among the sins heinous enough to earn one eternal damnation are fornication, thievery, and murder. However, the crime reserved for the ninth circle of hell, the sin against man, nature, and God worse than all others and deserving of its own special punishment, is treachery. Yes, treason and betrayal are the worst, most unforgivable sins because they upset the balance of the universe. They destroy the order which God begat for the Earth.
Kevin Durant committed the mortal sin of treachery when he betrayed the Thunder and upset the balance of the NBA. Kevin Durant will burn in the deepest recesses of the inferno for all eternity for what he has done.
