The problem with UFC "reach" measurements is that they are actually measuring wingspan, so a fighter with narrow shoulders will have more arm reach than the stats suggest.

Also, Holloway may have 2" less reach than Aldo, but he is taller, so he doesn't have to punch up, which gains him some reach. Not to mention a longer torso and legs which benefit him when leaning in, etc.
