Doubtful. People are hyping them but there's no reason to believe, right now, that they'll be contending for the CFP. Clemson is the only game that should give them trouble of their first 6 aside from a Mississippi State team I think will be top 25 at some point (Georgia Southern and Ole Miss will be decent but should probably lose) so Auburn will almost definitely be top 25 halfway through the season. But the back end of their season has games @LSU, @TA&M, vsUGA, and vs Alabama. Assuming those teams don't flame out I expect Auburn to lose around 2-3 of those games, at least 1. Without a stellar receiving core, 2 loses, and no SEC championship game, I don't think it's possible for Stidham to get the Heisman.

Our athletic department is brainless and didn't understand that after two national championships since 2000, there was no way in hell that people would be satisfied with winning seasons that ultimately resulted in nothing under Miles.
