What's funny is that this is entirely within the realm of possibility at this point. Even though he'd be in the same conference as Golden State, LeBron has to know that the Spurs are one of the only teams left in the league that can potentially beat them without him. The Kings shot more free throws over the course of the series than the Lakers. They also had more fouls called in their favor.
Game 2 gave the Kings a 13 free throw attempt advantage, Lakers lose by 6.
