Hey man, I'm probably one of the few people here who watches both baseball and cricket pretty avidly. You'll find in T20 cricket a lot of the tactics are similar to baseball regarding pitching, using things like changeups (called slower balls in cricket, often out of the back/side of the hand) to try and throw the timing of batters. In cricket though most of the focus is on movement off the bounce, getting the ball to jag sideways or bounce more or less than expected makes it a lot harder to hit. For faster bowlers they'll try and land it on the seam so it moves a little bit, for slower bowlers they put a ton of sideways revs on it so that it actually spins off the ground.
There is also swing bowling which some people have posted and is kinda similar to a slider but it's not really the same because sliders and curveballs are all dominated by the Magnus effect whereas in cricket the seam and pressure difference is what causes it to swerve. Magnus effect stuff like curveballs isn't that common, because the bounce will screw up the rotation. There also isn't really an equivalent to a knuckler for the same reason but I know some bowlers are trying it.
Feel free to ask me some stuff in baseball terms and I can probably explain it.

He's been robust tactically and appears to be a natural leader, I think he's unrivalled as a captain right now. Really does make you think that teams should just pick the best natural leader, but they just can't afford to have the captain go out of form or be droppable, so end up picking their best player. I personally don't think Kane should be captain, but who else?

If you weren't dense you would realise Congress were as much anti-minority and pro-hindutva as much as the morons today. Only that they were sly and crafty whereas today's government and their bandwagoners are dumb who wear hindutva in their sleeves. It was Congress who opened Babri Masjid for puja and subsequently put idols in it. Even during these supposedly 'secular' decades there have been temples built right inside government institutions like police stations, law courts, administrative buildings etc. The Hindu-Muslim issue is only brought up by the politicians to slide the real issues, most crucial of which is the Dalits and other scheduled people demanding for equal rights. Muslims are here to liberate the oppressed from the tyrannical Brahamanical rule which is embedded in Indian society. If you don't see this then your education is of no use because you are as unaware of ground realities as an illiterate person.

Well, casuals watch a couple of months of cricket each year and eventually work out that you tend not to score at the same rate in the 49th over of an ODI innings as you do earlier in the innings, so they built a mathematical formula to accelerate one's scoring rate based upon past increases in run rate dependent on how many wickets were in hand. This creates a system in which it is advantageous to hold on to wickets if you think the rain is coming. For example, India scoring 0/15 in the last 5 overs before the rain came is a poor strategy if they were actually expecting to bat a full innings, and it would be better to increase RR even if a wicket falls. But if you're not playing for a full innings, and just trying to game the system, then you hold on to wickets and the system assumes you would have scored 130 off the last 10 because you have wickets in hand and some projection based off results from 1998 says so.
