Ronaldo is part of a system at the moment that barely even needs him. People say he saved his energy all season that's why he played poorly for most of the year, but yeah that just shows that even at 50%, Real Madrid is more than good enough to carry him. You can even check Portugal winning the Euro WITHOUT HIM PLAYING and see how much impact he has. Meanwhile Argentina without Messi has won only once in the past year (8 losses without him) and Barcelona looks like compelte ass shit without him having a good day. It's completely night and day when a player like him is missing. And the sad thing is only Neymar managed to step up 2-3 times in the season when Messi ate too much pizza and sprite. There's just no support like Marcelo, Asensio, Kroos, even defenders started scoring game-winning goals.
