I still have this thread open, but I'm not even listening anymore. There's no point. It's not enjoyable at all.

I sincerely mean this: I would fire everyone. I would not allow Pete Mackanin to finish this series as an employee. I wouldn't even allow him on the team bus home.

Since their last day off, the 15th, they have been outscored 37-74. An exact 2-1 ratio. It's one thing to be a young team and struggling, but this isn't even the case. It's a level of incompetence that I have never seen from any team ever. You look at the pitchers and the batters, and they just seem completely clueless.

This team is an absolute atrocity, and everybody needs to go. Pete Mackanin and Bob McClure should be fired NOW. And the rest of the staff and even the players should be put on notice.

I cannot wait for September to be here. Yeah, the Eagles will probably miss the playoffs and be shit, but at least they're fucking entertaining. This isn't even fun in a sadistic "Let's see how shitty they can be" way.

And I have to watch this team fail in person on Saturday. I'm actually hoping they get rained out.

Fuck everything.
