Playing matic and kante was a retarded decision, kante has always been wanked over by ozil pretty much every time he has come up against him and it was exactly the same yesterday. Matic is slow as shit and basically a pointless player unless people purposefully run into him. This same midfield got exposed by spurs in the semi, but they got away with it and didnt learn.

They should have played fabregas and just tried to get balls in behind arsenal, which is always their weakness. Instead they played a bunch of dribble babbies to try and create shit which doesnt work against a well organised team. costa looked completely isolated. Fabregas might have also helped them keep the ball a bit better, which is especially important on a hot day.

The FA Cup is still a big deal in the UK, the entire day of television on the BBC is FA Cup themed and lots of programs in the week building up to it. It's one of the oldest sporting competitions in the world and has a prestige to it, compared to other domestic cup competitions around the world that were made up out of nowhere just because it was the trend to have one like the English.
