Yes. They allow a huge variety of cars in, and the three digits car count is part of Nurburgring's charm too. Grouping different cars into the same class would be a pain in the ass since it would require balancing everything without making people upset, which is nearly impossible. Just look at how much of a clusterfuck the BoP stuff is, and they are usually trying to equalize cars running under the same set of regulations. Now imagine doing that to a bunch of cars built to completely different specs and you have a big problem to deal with
