Funny thing about athletes playing soccer instead of football is that it means they'll elevate the quality of play of the sport domestically. MLS is already the fastest growing professional league in the United States, and that demand will lead to increased revenue which allows for higher contracts offering which will simultaneously increase the talent that stays within the US, which will lead to an increase in demand for the product.
