I think it's low. He has a good first step and good vision.
But people that rave about him having incredible leadership and changing UCLA's culture don't realize there are 2 other freshmen he played with who are getting selected in the first round. You could argue they are getting drafted that high because Ball made them look that good, but I credit all these players appearing this impressive to UCLA's system. Players were just always open.

Passing point guards are being phased out in the current NBA. The age of CP3 and Rondo is coming to an end.

Guards today need to be scorers first and foremost before anything else.

When was the last time a marquee passing PG became instrumental in winning the NBA title? 2011 Mavericks with an old Jason Kidd? All the past champions who have a star point guard are all scorers.
