No intelligent players. Intelligence is looked down upon by English grass roots football because it's all about GUTS and HEART and being TOUGH AS NAILS. Being a clever, skilful player with vision is praised in Spain but considered gay in England.

Class system is also still a thing in English football so you don't really get bright or educated people getting into footy; it's either shit tier working class white people or black guys who got into the youth system because they were 6'2'' at age 12.

Basically our youth system is really old fashioned and run by people who don't like change. If you're not like them then they don't like you.
