Uhh, what? Honestly this team is way overperforming considering our batting approach (le dinger guys). Starting pitching has been a surprise. Bullpen has blown a fat load but that was expected. I don't really know what to think year to year cuz I don't follow trades and such, but the product has been decent and that's why I still watch. First time posting here on /mlb/. Just as a quick intro, I’m a White Sox fan, been so my whole life. I’ve vacationed in Florida a handful of times, and I’m heading down there again in September. I will be in the Tampa area for a day and the Rays are at home, so I definitely want to head to the Trop for a game. The Rays are also playing the Cubs that night, so I will definitely cheer hard for the Rays!

Anyways, any recs on a nice hotel to stay at in St Pete or Tampa? Things to see and do during the day? Preferred seating sections at the Trop for the game?
