i grew up 10 minutes from where the ripkens are from, and have a family connection to them. i met billy ripken once when i was 15 as he was dropping off an inflatable slide for my school's fund raising fair. someone from the county politely and briefly asked him for proof of insurance on it, and billy got salty because he didnt have it. after the guy left, he went apeshit and lectured me and my friends that that's why you dont pay taxes, and was calling the guy all types of shit. also, cal and billy's mom got kidnapped in aberdeen as well, which is pretty fucking ridiculous in and of itself.
