I recognize the Celts just finished a 7-game series and the Cavs have been vacationing for a week, but this will still be a harder series for the Cavs than the last two. Cavs had a losing road-record during the season, if they'll lose any game it'll be Game 2.

If they were #2 seed they would be booted out by the Hawks or the Raptors, teams they are matched poorly against.

Cleveland played this perfectly. Rested starters and IMO purposely got the #2 seed because the teams they'd play on that part of the bracket were much better matchups for them.

Gun to my head, I'd probably say the Heat have a better chance of making the playoffs than not making the playoffs next year, but if you're not at least getting 1/1 payout for it, I'd say it's a stupid bet.

What you should have put money on was the Cavs going to the Finals earlier in the season when the payout was strangely good at +350 knowing damn well that is just a bet that LeBron doesn't suffer some unprecedented horrible injury.
