I'm pretty much done with predictions after last season, Tyler O'Connor being gone should be worth a couple wins though. O line/WRs should be improved, RBs are good.

The defensive line literally can't get worse and it sounds like McDowell was a bit of a cancer last season. LBs and CBs should be a strength with safeties being another question mark.

6 to 9 wins seems like a logical guess, who knows with how things have been though.

Our offensive coordinator is a bit of a retard so we will prob run every 1st and 2nd down then throw on 3rd to be as predictable as possible.

Scott, Holmes, London would all start on 80% of teams and Scott looks LeVeon Bell good at times. Tackle play was sub-par last season though. Chewins is a great pass blocking LT but he's like 6'8" 275lbs so not exactly a mauler.


QB, OL injuries (well, injuries in general) and lack of pass rush were really what fucked us last season. 2/3 seem likely to be fixed and the pass rush can't get worse. The team had less sacks than a lot of individuals last year and our defense is predicated on pressuring the QB.

Clemson and Oklahoma were both flawed teams, and USC I'm not sold on. Alabama's only tough game in their division is Oklahoma State but they'd still be heavy favorites.

C-USA has been riding WKU, MTSU, and LA Tech for like 3 years, while Marshall, Rice, and Southern Miss are tanking. The rest of the conference is barely worth mentioning, with the only possible exception being ODU's first 10 win season ever in 2016.

The SBC has App State, Troy, Arky State, South Alabama, and Georgia Southern all enjoying success.

Imo, it's time to re-align the 2 conferences along regional lines.

NMSU is just too far away. I'd be okay with the addition of a Texas school or Missouri State, but not New Mexico. And besides, from a recruiting point of view expanding back into New Mexico does nothing.

In a perfect world I'd add JMU, Chattanooga, Missouri State, and Sam Houston State. a 14-team conference, 16-team for basketball, with fun programs that span the southeast states but don't stray too far from each other. The only issue is the academics for these schools (JMU would far outclass everyone) and for that reason I considered adding Elon, Furman, or William & Mary instead of Chattanooga, but UTC makes sense as it expands the SBC into the Tennessee recruiting area with a strong rival for several close teams (JMU and App State)

Other schools I didn't mention that would be good candidates if they were willing to invest are Eastern Kentucky, Stephen F. Austin State, Charleston Southern, and North Alabama.
