This.
My local state college has free putting chipping and pitching greens see if you have anything similar.
I spent a summer during college going to over there atleast 3 times a week for 2 to 3 hours and went from shooting 95-100 ish to 85-90. What i found was in the end is its not worth the time cuz mid 85 still isnt really gonna impress anyone. And as soon as i stoped practicing i was back shooting low 90s again

get lessons when you first start out so you don't have a fucked up swing
then you wont practice and get shit habits that are hard to break

Unironically by just swinging the club daily, even if it's just hitting tee's outta the ground.
Of course I am presuming that you have a somewhat adequate swing here.
Driving range
They should have grass to tee off from and a chipping green

have some golf lessons. seriously.
>>75965542
Buy a 5 hybrid and learn to swing
Then buy an iron set, a pitching wedge and a putter and learn to do the rest. Tee off with a 3 iron until you get a proper driver and learn how to use it

Second golf set to not break the bank, and David Leadbetter tutorials to teach you.
That is probably the cheapest way to start.
Once you have a bit of a foundation, you can go to a pro for lessons

Jack Nicklaus heavily emphasized the importance of visualization. This means before you even get to your ball, you're picturing the ball flight and the timing of your swing. Its like taking practice swings inside your head.
After that, take a light practice swing to warm up, then execute the swing exactly how you pictured it, without any mental or thought interference. You want your mind to be completely empty. The actual shot should be done on autopilot, not by trying to consciously execute certain things during the swing.
