i know it makes a lot more sense to say it's a conspiracy to your deranged minds, but isn't it just possible that since this was a pretty highly likely scenario from the get-go, that it just naturally occurred this way? The lakers had around a 47% chance to get a top 3 pick, they got a top 3 pick. The Celtics had the highest chance to get the #1 pick via the nets and they got it. This lottery wasn't even slightly surprising from a statistical standpoint, it happened almost exactly as you would predict if you were betting on the outcome. Or, alternatively, it's all a conspiracy. I guess it doesn't really fucking matter.
