An injured Golden State team which involved the NBA suspending Green a game for the most trivial bullshit?

An extremely, extremely young Thunder team? Cowshit is a dumbass who's trying to associate the players on that roster in their current form (Durant, Westbrook, Harden).

A Spurs team which required a wacky last second Ryan Allen 3 pointer to squeak by & get a game 7? LeBron didn't make that 3 pointer.

This only becomes a conversation if Lelbron can win 6.

Stockton+Malone Utah Jazz was an alltime great team that would have dominated any other era besides the Jordan era. You had a top 5 all time PG in Stockton and a top 5 alltime forward in Karl, plus very solid role players.

LeBron would have gotten destroyed by Malone on his first drive to the hoop, cried and complained to the refs, then proceed to shit the bed and act scared the entire rest of the series.

>>
>>75851581
Barkley's Suns were a great team. They could have won a title and lost three years in a row to the actual NBA champion including two series decided on incredible shots by Paxson and Elie.

Stockton-Malone-Sloan were a great team as well. They would have won two straight if not for Jordan.

Drexler's Blazers may not be considered a great team, but Bulls were the outsiders in the 1992 finals despite being the defending champs.

Late Magic's Lakers were not a great team, they were totally rusted. Sonics weren't either. Blazers may be considered one. Suns and Jazz definitely were.
>>

The nba is so watered down right now the bulls managed to win 2 games against the celtics. There is literally no arguing. 90s ball had the most dominant HoFers to ever play the game in that span. Toughest competition and you could actually play defense and not get fouls called.

Jordan couldn't even get past the first round without Pippin. LeBron dragged a shit garbage team to the Finals that had the worst record in the league after he left.

Teams were without a doubt better.
There was a legit 7-8 teams that were legit title contenders. Now it's basically two fucking teams, because everyone wants to team up to win. There is no competition in today's nba.

You can make the same argument about Jordan and the 90s except for maybe Hakeem. Nobody is going to remember Stockton/malone, Clyde, bball playing Barkley, etc. 10 years from now

OKC had Durant, Westbrook, Harden, and Ibaka. That's a damn tough lineup at any age.

And teams today tank like a boss.
Teams tank so much that the league is thinking about changing how the draft lottery works, to stop teams from doing it.

Challenge pls find me a player drafted 2000 or later who has made a notable lasting legacy. Lebron James, D-Wade Steph are the only ones. Everyone else was a flash in the pan meme player or has never done shit ever.

He dragged that 08 Cleveland team kicking and screaming to the Finals. Other than that, he's been playing with nothing but hall of famers.

Jordanfags have now reclused themselves to the standard that LeBron can't ever do anything in their minds that would make them consider he's better than Jordan

>muh 90s defense
>muh 90s talent
>muh lebron has now played more games in the league than jordan

They are desparate and scared. LeBron has always obviously been better than Jordan despite their nostalgia of flu games that were really just hangovers.

Teams tanked in the 90's too. Tanking for Tim Duncan is the most famous example. The Celtics were 100% unapologetically tanking, but the Spurs who were tanking because David Robinson got hurt anyway won the lottery.

In the 80's the 1st draft pick went to the highest bidder I think.

Russell wasn't even the best on his team. They had no free agency back then. His team literally just stacked HOFers at every position while no one actually remembers a single one of Wilt's teammates till he joined the lakers.

That 2011 performance should've put any discussion about LeBron being better than Jordan on hold until he wins at least 5 rings. And he better win this year.

Sort of but not really, the seattle team and jazz teams were both worthwhile.

The Lakers were max shitters at that point, they had magic who was good but Kareem was gone and Worthy was injured, Colin's right there.

Drexler is shit.

Charles was good but honestly they almost got swept in the first round, he was the only good player.

I'd dispute Colin on the OKC thunder being good, that year they weren't. James Harden was okay, but nowhere near his ability is now as was Russel. The only good player was Durant in many ways.

Spurs and Warriors tho, that's some fuck. The warriors team was stronger than whatever Jordan faced no question, and the spurs whilst nearing the end of their prime were still all extremely good + young K.

>>75855968
The Warriors team got exposed hard in the playoffs. Only this Warriors team is better than Jordan's competition

>91- Magic who had HIV
-wasn't diagnosed for 3 more years, this was still SHOWTIME! lakers ball
-Note: the bulls had to get past the 2 time defending NBA champs (Pistons) as WELL as get through the 3 time champ (Celtics) to get to that final. That 91 run was harder then any run LeBron has ever had to face, and that lakers team was easily better than any team LeBron has faced or beaten in the NBA finals.

>92 - Blazers led by Drexler (literally who?)
Clyde "the Slide" Drexler is a fucking hall of famer, 10 time all pro, and voted one of the 50 greatest BBall players in the world you fucknut

>93 - Fat boy Charles Barkley
Hall of famer charles barkley at the peak of his game in phoenix, perhaps the 3rd best player in the league at any point in time durring his career. That Suns team was fucking stacked too, easily better than any team LeBron has faced or beaten in the NBA finals.

>96 - Supersonics (meme team)
Shawn Kemp, McMillan and Gary Payton, Payton being perhaps the greatest defensive player of his generation overshadowing McMillan who was perhaps the best defensive PG in the league. this was a fucking beastly basketball team which was a nightmare to play all fucking season, they were a 64 win team. this wasn't a "meme" team, they beat some tough teams (2 time nba champ rockets, and the Jazz who would run to two more nba championships in the following two years)

>97-98- Jazz (team with good individual players, sort of like 2012 OKC)
Two hall of famers, including the greatest point guard in nba history in John Stockton (he not only holds the assist record by an absurd number, he also holds the STEALS record by an absurd number), with one of the top 3 power forwards in nba history in Karl Malone. This was a well oiled, well coached offensive and defensive machine, that shot fucking 90 from the FT line, and just ate teams alive with the pick and roll; perfecting it to the point there simply was no defense for them.

Shut up.

lebron never had to get through the mid-80's Celtics, or the late 80's pistons.

Two teams/dynasties which are reguarded both statistically and historically amoung the greatest teams who ever played in the NBA. The first 3 bulls championship teams weren't even all that great. They had pippen and jordan, and not much else. It wasn't till jordan took that 2 year break that chicago actually bothered to build a real basketball team which basically made the last 3 championships a heck of a lot easier on jordan.

You're an idiot.

Although I was too young to have watched 91-93 I still remember 96-98 and I can tell you that SSS and Jazz were much better than any team on the league right now.
And I still remember how Jazz were refballed hard at one point.

Go home, kiddo.

>LeBron has never been swept in the first round. Jordan has twice

swept by the eventual nba champion celtics with a bunch a no-names + jordan. Jordan by himself taking the whole celtics team to the wall, including the greatest single game by a player in an nba playoff game when jordan laid 63 on the celtics, causing Larry Bird to proclaim that they didn't play against MJ, they played against god disguised as MJ. http://www.nba.com/history/jordan63_moments.html
>>
Jordan ONLY EVER BEAT SUPERSTARS WHEN THEY WERE OLD.

Jordan was in the right place at the right time, and had the help of Pippen and a deep bench.

Every superstar Jordan beat was a team old and/or broken as fuck. Jordan sucks, get over it.
