Can confirm. I live in eastern Ontario, Canada and cycling here is pretty beautiful. Lots of countryside, lots of dramatic natural scenery, and winds don't get too bad. Courteous drivers too, for the most part.

Only drawback is the entire region is under a foot of snow for 4-5 months per year.
