The only problem with KD is that he went to the Warriors. He could have gone literally anywhere else and not incurred as much hatred. I understand why he did it. Rings are everything from a financial standpoint and in the sense of personal pride. But that the same time, it's very disappointing for the league as a whole. KD to Boston, Washington (his hometown), Houston, San Antonio....that would have been fun AND it would have given him a great chance of getting a ring.

But Golden State? It feels cheap. It feels lazy. Durant is an amazing player, but in all honesty, he could spend the entire season on the bench and Golden State would still be the favorites for the title, that's how good they are. It's just disappointing from a fan's perspective.

neutral observer here, I've been to both Cleveland and OKC multiple times for business.

Cleveland is pretty meh, but its still a city and actually has industry even if it is imperfect. I found plenty of things to do there. I saw my team play the Indians and the Cleveland fans I sat with were actually pretty nice. One guy actually gave me a list of restaurants, clubs, and sites to visit. They actually have nice parks, went to a couple private business dinners too. The people there were generally nice. Granted, I steered clear of the shitty areas.

The air felt nice and freshing coming off of Lake Erie. Although, 30 years ago, I imagine things smelled a lot worse due to the pollution, but they've really cleaned up some of the areas of their city.

The three times i've been to OKC were all incredibly tedious and boring. I felt like I was trapped in this flat tundra of nothing. and if you are talking about shit weather, at least it rains in Cleveland. The air in OKC is so unbearably stagnant and dry. it feels and smells like I'm in a stuffy barn that hasn't been opened in years. There's no green anywhere. Even fucking Phoenix has water flown in to water its plants. There is also absolutely nothing to do during the day and at night besides eat food and sleep. The food is good though, i'll give you that.

I went to a AAA baseball game in OKC one time, and some drunk fuck spit his wad of Tobacco on me for no reason, then poured his beer on my female co-worker. When we left the game, we noticed our rental car got keyed. The people were rather rude in general wherever I went. Also, the earthquakes were annoying.
