Yeah 2016 was too predictable, but even then I could 'feel' the teams like in real life, while in FIFA you just SPRINT through, no tactics needed whatsoever.

PES08 was probably a shitty game but it was honestly the one I had the most fun with in the series, being the first one that I actually owned. The series started to suck after 11 and I hadn't picked it up back until 16 which was really fun as well.
I also loved FIFA 2003, F1 2000/2001 (can't really remember which year specifically was in the title) and Collin McRae Rally 2.0 for the PS1.

The best in a long time, and superior from all points of view to 2016 and 2015. Better animations, better AI, defence that isn't braindead, in particular the keepers are visibly improved. Referees actually remember they can hand out cards. Corner kicks OP. The AI has the bad habit of pushing forward at kickoff instead of passing back though. That said, if you try coach mode you'll get brain cancer from how inconsistent the results are.

it was better than FIFA for starters, which around that time wasnt much of a complement since those fifas were some of the worst football games that ever existed. i played pes 5 as a joke, being the braindead fifa kiddie i thought it was some meme gook shit but everything about it was great, minor shit like teammates applauding at a pass they couldnt reach, goalkeepers jumping on a crossbar as the ball sails over, your players colliding with each other etc. and it just felt so good to play, then PES 6 came along and improved everything and i went mental with the kitserver to the point that it was 4 times the size of the game itself since i downloaded thousands of boots, faces, balls, kits and other shit. it had the winning formula of good gameplay with attention to detail, but lacked licenses and had shit commentary but thankfully you could work around those.

I need help. I used to have a demo game when I was a kid, but broke the cd accidentally and no matter how hard I try I can't find that game.

It was a robot game, battle scenes were anime like, but action based. Game was 2d from birds eye view, you move icon of your character like chess on map, when you encounter another robot, fight scene starts. There was a generic battle music at fight scene. You can't intervene the fight but you can select which move your robot should do.

Shortcut of the game had robot helmet(I think it was blue), and had a long name but one word. It's an unpopular game as I can't find it since years.
