Hell, I guess that makes more sense than me hating the Cusb as much as I do. But I also think the White Sox/ Cusb hatred is the best of all the same city teams. The Yankees have made the Mets their bitch, and solidified it permanently in a subway world series. The Angels and Dodgers have nothing going against each other. I actually don't know how Oakland feels about SF, I don't think I've ever seen an A's poster on /mlb/.

The reason the white sox and cubs rivalry is so good is because both teams were shitty for so fucking long(87 years and 107 respectively). When inter-league play began they were still both non-competitive(other than 2000, and 2003). So the rivalry began from who was the less-shitty team, not who was actually good. The White Sox winning the WS, and the huge brawl the following season with AJ trolling shitty Barret definitely drew in the Cusb hatred. Both teams had good 2008s, which kept the hatred going. Then the Cusb winning last year and their embarrassing bandwagon definitely threw a log on the fire.
