They have more downforce than a NAS-car does. The 2017 Indycar has a hole on the floor that keeps it from flying around due to loss of rear downforce (as a result of what happened at the Indy 500 in 2015). F1 cars have so much downforce period that getting around this track without taking off wouldn't be a problem, but their engines aren't designed for the constant flat-out driving that happens at Talladega and would probably blow up.
