Tortoli to Cagliari 148km
>The Route: a short stage running south parallel to the coast and then west for the final 50 kilometres. The Capo Boi is a long drag up over and around a cape complete with hairpins but it’s 5-6% for two kilometres and won’t worry the sprinters
>The Finish: in Cagliari, Sardinia’s largest city. It’s flat and exposed to crosswinds as the race passes the salty lagoons before entering the city. With 3km to go there’s a gentle bridge over the river and an express road and the bridge slopes down to a large roundabout. After this there’s with a large road all the way to the finish. The asphalt ends with 350m to go, there are large flagstones and some of them look irregular, nothing wild but a few wide gaps can make the sprinters bounce
Starting the vibe

>The stage is basically flat, with just mild and gentle undulations throughout the route. The first 90 kilometres are raced on a fast-flow road, passing through a number of well-lit tunnels. After leaving the ss. 125, the route runs across Villasimius (intermediate sprint) and takes in a few short climbs along the coastal road. KOM points are for grabs at Capo Boi. Then comes a perfectly flat stretch of road, leading to the finish (for the fourth time in the history of Giro) in Cagliari. The final 10 kilometres are completely flat. The roads are wide and with a number of roundabouts, but no tricky curves. The home straight is 800 m long, on 8-m wide asphalt road (up to the last 350m
Short stage and apparently cross tailwind. Could be some happenings. But most likely full peloton for the sprint.
Flat stages are comfy.
see you all in in 120km
>>75759345
Yep me too. Heading out for a quick spin.
>>75759406
I already did my ride. A chilly, average temp of 4°C, 60 km morning spin. Also as I was out on my winter/commuter bike that has no sensors I found out that my TICKR X HRM can through some black magic act as a cadence sensor.
>>75759345
Did some 20km of hecking hard MTB. After that ride I'm really happy that I bought full suspension bike, otherwise the saddle would have worked its way up my arse hole. So many roots and rocks.
>also forget to check stage 1 & 2 results
>no prologue
>some cheeky Austrian nobody has ever heard about got maglia rosa on stage 1
noice, dog bless Giro
Why is Lotto allowed to wear the yellow?
>>75760122
Não é a Volta da França. É a da Itália e lá usa-se camisa rosa e não amarela.
Ewan has looked the stronger sprinter to me, he was very unlucky yesterday. I think Ewan to win today
Should be cutting my hair right now but I feel unable to get off my couch
>>75760658
This is the right stage for it...
>>75760700
Yeah. I think I'll force myself to do it in a bit

>>75761098

Happens once and then the peloton is spooked for like a decade after.
>>75761459
Awesome! thanks!
>>75759568
Did 60km today on my vintage bike. First time taking it out on a hillier route, turns out you just have to htfu when your lowest gear is 42-22. I've been spoiled by my modern bike with a compact and 28 on the back.
Finally signed up to tinder. I did a beta test in a couple of US cities and my success rate wasn't awful. Got a few solid 8s, a half dozen who'd definitely be my type (academics who aren't ugly) and several super likes. Also got some traps and fatties but such is life This morning, I dipped my toe into a UK city I'm visiting next week and am getting sweet fuck all. Should I just move to America?
God I fucking hate sprint stages.
>>75761841
just find a whore on adultwork dude
>>75761659
>tfw you live on the coast and 60 km ride has grand total 144m of climbing

Just go to parties organised by your uni , and just pick em up there , girls who actually meet up are all disease ridden whores
>>75761841
It was good when it first started, but since then it has been taken over by bots.

>>75761933
American bitches jump on any cock with a funny accent.
>>75761933
Yeah I live in a really flat area, my hilly rides are riding around a river valley, so it's loads of short 10-15% grade hills. Nothing comfy you can settle into a rhythm on, just gotta grind it out.
Neat tower
>tfw the only climb in 40 km around me is the bridge above the highway passing through the area
>tfw this is where i live
>>75762068
same. 60km to heuvelland, 55k to oudenaarde. i wish we had more hills and mountains, i enjoy climbing very much
>>75762096
grass, water, fence, sexy neighbours. what more do you need?
>>75761916
That would be like giving up. Plus, there are a few things I want to do pertinent to my hobbies while I'm there and it would be incredibly expensive for five minutes of fun.
>>75761933
>tfw I live by the Peak District.
I have comparable success when I'm in the Balkans
>>75761943
>parties
>>75761962

>>75761999
Combine funny accent with blond hair and blue eyes and it gets almost too easy.
I dream of extracting vapour without a cookerhood.

lot of the "experts" have been proven wrong. the favourites were supposed to be the likes of Quintana and Nibali, but it's been almost entirely sprinters in the pink jersey

Feel you Belgian-anons,
If they really care about Belgian cycling, they should remove muslim parts of Belgium and build an artifical hill / mountain there.
For example in Borgerhout in Antwerp.
>>75763488
>>75763783
i could get behind that plan
