Has an overall record of 15-17, granted his best quarterback was Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Biggest concern was all the drama and lack of effort down the stretch but I don't know how much of that was coaching and how much of that was just having the wrong guys in the locker room. His Second half adjustments are actually pretty good most of the time. Four of our Five wins last season were comebacks.

I'm not expecting a lot of wins but I'd like to see a lot of young players develop and to be less drama.

I also think he should go back to blitzing a lot like he did in 2015. Don't know why the scheme was less aggressive.

TL;DR is the real Bowles 2015 or 2016? Probably somewhere in the middle, if they have to fire him I'd be okay with it. Silver Lining to having a terrible year is we'd be in good draft position in what's thought is going to be a really strong quarterback class.

This is what got me to thinking that maybe he isn't the guy. Watching him on the sidelines he seems to be timid. quiet and not a great communicator. Obviously seeing what they show on broadcast tv isn't necessarily a great insight into how he runs the team but it certainly didn't help.

As the pats time at the top would seem to be coming sooner rather than later I'm curious to see who emerges as the successor in the AFCE. Fish look to be on a good trajectory, the Bills seem to be spinning their wheels and the Jets seem like they need a lot of pieces to be competitive.

I think at this point the HC job is McDaniel's. He didn't really even consider openings although there was interest. I think 2 more years and Brady and Bill ride off together into the sunset. Whether McD learned anything after that debacle in Denver is yet to be seen. We probably tag Jimmy at close to 20 million next year and make some hard decisions after that. Regardless I think the east gets a lot more competitive here shortly.
