The only positive about Danish Eurosport is when Brian Holm is co-commentator which he is today and will be for some of the stages. He has some good anecdotes and never holds back on his opinions even though he still works in the sport.

Commentators do matter a whole lot. Rolf Sörensen who's on the non-ad station that shows all the other races is like the guy you describe.
It's pretty impressive how they can recognise riders instantly in these times with helmets and big glasses.
