It actually hurts the club in some way because in the Netherlands if you are a stock market company you need to give insight into your big expenditures so everyone knows how much Ajax pays or receives for their player transfers. Since Ajax has a ton of money in the bank it is likely that they will all be bought up and Ajax will withdraw from the stock market
