No. The only city that can support a team is Birmingham, and its proximity to Tuscaloosa and the Crimson Tide takes away from an NFL team's ability to get people into its stadium (which would likely be a decaying Legion Field). this has been a major problem for a long time which is why early league relied so heavily on the run game.

Defense and run game made most football games into slug matches. As league changed to a more QB top approach, it has shown a stark talent problem which is why they want to start an under league to mine for players lost in the cracks.
