Short answer yes

Melo has an NCAA championship, strong international career, years of high volume and consistency and All-Star/All-NBA nominations to his credit. He'll get in.

As for Chris Webber he's just paying the price for the Michigan recruiting scandal. Technically speaking a number of the honors that would get him into the HoF don't even exist. But he'll also get in eventually.
