How good did the Eagles draft overall? I kinda stopped following after the 2nd round and grades by the media are garbage since they pretty much just give everyone As and Bs

Also will Jones + Douglas be the new Lito + Brown combo in 2-3 years?

No, you retards have to understand that only generational talents like Bosa, Julio, Watt actually make substantial impacts as rookies

The Cowboys drafted 3 elite olinemen over 4 years and weren't good until 2014

If the Browns keep drafting well they'll be wild card contenders in 2019

Just found out the CB from Colorado the Cowboys drafted is a weeb.

What's up with all the weebs being drafted now?
>>
>>75627784
generational talent is overused

watt can't be a generational talent if he was drafted alongside von miller and aldon smith who both got over 10 sacks their rookie year
>>
>>75627852
>aldon smith
lol
>>
>>75627684
I can easily see Jones being more like Asante Samuel, he has ballhawk instincts and will occasionally gamble hard but never as often as Marcus Peters did

The pairing with Douglas is interesting, if he can be taught to play press well his size will make him a great corner to stick on bigger WRs like Dez, however if he never develops a good press he'll be a shitty man corner due to his lack of top end speed but a great zone corner due to his instincts

>>75627852
You can have more than one of those in a draft, if Rodgers Watt and Julio were all the top first 3 picks in a hypothetical they're still all generational talents no?

Black kids who grew up watching Naruto are prime age drafting stock right now instead of black kids everyone is used to who grew up in the hood listening to Biggie.
Expect this trend to continue into the next few years. We'll see a downturn in numbers of weebs drafted coinciding with the death of Toonami, and that no longer being the hot shit among kids. In about 3 to 5 years we'll be getting draftees who have Roblox and Minecraft obsessions. These are still people who were kids at the end of the day, and their hobbies just carry with them.

SPRQ is a measurement of athleticism.

Production points is how productive they were in college.

Teez Tabor is slightly above average in production but below average in athleticism.

Chidobe Awozie is an athletic freak that was so productive he played every single DB position in college and is in the 97% percentile of all NFL athletes.

Sidney Jones was surprisingly low in production compared to his college peers mostly because he was barely targeted and Kevin King was instead the Washington secondary was so good. Similar to Lattimore in Ohio State.

Collins and Brown were solid first year starters drafted in the 3rd and 6th round.

In general, if your 3rd rounder is somewhat productive, you've already beaten the odds there, and if your 6th rounder is even stepping foot on the field at some point, let alone performing as one of the top rookie CBs, you've absolutely destroyed the odds.

Everyone keeps shitting on the Bears Draft pick, and acting like Cleveland Browns made out like those rioting niggas when they wreck cities and loot all the Sports, Electronic, and hair weave stores.

But with Trubisky, the Bears will make it to the playoffs within 4 years, and BEFORE the Browns.

The Bears took a huge gamble. For glory, or for shit. The Browns played it safe, and thinking maybe 5-10 year plan.

And the Bears will have a better record than Browns this season. Nothing significant has changed to make them a playoff team. Unless they buy a FA QB before season starts.

Bears Won 3 games at least this season

Browns only 1 win.

As crap as Bears are they still Won 3x as many games. Yes, Browns drafted couple/few good players, But still in QB hopelessness. At best they tie the Bears for Wins this season. Maybe at miracle best they get 1-2 more Wins than Bears this season. While Trubisky prepares. If he turns out in 2 years he starts and then maybe tripples bears wins compared to Browns.

In 2-3 years Garret wont be leading Briowns to playoffs, while Trubisky "i love kissing tittles" could be leading Bears INMO.

In 2010, the Cowboys roster was basically just Romo, Witten, and Ware carrying a whole myriad of aging overpriced turds. That whole team had to be severely rebuild because Jerry tried to infinitely fill holes with free agents and meme trades before finally building a proper team through the draft.

It didn't help that Romo continually masked all the horrible problems on the team for years by dragging them to better records than they really deserved convincing Jerry they were always just one free agent away from a Super Bowl.
>>
>>75630167
One more bad year is all they need and they should be headed in the right direction
>>
>>75630139
>>75630085
Chiefs cornerback core is awful, along with their D line getting substantially worse without Poe around. Smith is a bad QB no matter how much Chiefs fans meme him up. Maclin is fragile and Kelce is a wlaking suspension. They don't have a good RB. The list goes on.

As for Denver, I say they have another 9-7 season. They didn't lose anyone important this season and their QB's have experience, but their O-line is still bad and the running game is going to suck big time. The defense is still top 5 in the league and that alone is enough to win them enough games to put them in the WC conversation.

Wrong and Wronger.
Chiefs d-line cant be worse than it was last year because
They already have an upgraded RB from the draft.
Kelce hasnt been suspended once so idk where you get the notion he wont be around.

The chiefs would "regress" because they have one of the toughest schedules
>>
>>75630343
How's your offense looking? I see loads of potential on defense if you actually start using Jamie Collins correctly but your oline is getting old and leaving right?

Also you need an elite WR

Rookies don't usually just step in and make a huge impact, but I guess RB is the best position to do that at. Their D line was pretty bad last year and I just think it will continue to be bad and they will get run over by the schedule you admit they have against them.

I will admit that Mr. do-it-yourself abortion is a fun player to watch though

Cleveland really has no where to go but up. If the ND QB can be explosive with Crowell, Johnson, Coleman... It's at this point I remember they let Pryor go to Washington... but yeah, the offense can be above average and the defense can be competent. If Hue Jackson is indeed the coach the team needs a 6-10 should be the expectations.

>>
>>75630396
Yeah, Thomas is getting older but they picked up some acceptable upgrades through free agency. Can't be worse than Cam Erving last year...

We HAD what should have become our elite WR (Prior,) but he decided to go to Washington for the same money we were offering him but a shorter contract. I'm still not sure what else they'll do for receivers, but I actually trust this front office to have a plan. It's all about execution, now.

>>75630509
There's some concern about Crowell's future here; a few people are beginning to panic over the fact he hasn't signed his tender yet. Johnson has always been used as a pass catching RB, so I don't have enough information about how dynamic he can really be. And Coleman...I wasn't encouraged with his performance after that finger injury last year. It all comes down to how they develop and grow this season.

>>
>>75630267
That is literally going to be a problem no matter what once you have a team with talented players. You can't keep all of them, so you have to start prioritizing.

The Seahawks chose to pay their defensive stars, so Wilson is always devoid of help on offense.

The Cowboys pay their Oline and offense, so they have rely on rookies and cheap FAs to fill their defense.

What are you, retarded?
>>
>It's another people think the Browns had a good draft episode

The Browns don't even employ a scout team. They just watch ESPN, and pick players according to Mel Kiper's draft board without any regard for filling a system.

>Myles Garrett
Begged the Cowboys to trade up for him to avoid playing for the Browns.

>Jabrill Peppers
Literal meme player who doesn't even know his position

>David Njoku
Joke is in his name because that's what he is. Mediocre college player drafted entirely on combine results.

>DeShone Keizer
Meme city pick. Another ND QB which Kiper loves to suck off for some unnatural reason.

>Larry Ogunjabi
First Charlotte player ever drafted. Their school doesn't actually have a football team, they just got confused and accidentally drafted a basketball player.

>Howard Wilson
CB out of Houston that the Browns traded up for because they were impressed with his ability to catch balls thrown right at him by awful QBs in an awful conference.

>Roderick Johnson
Traded up again for an Olineman in a draft where every olineman is complete trash.

>Caleb Brantley
Murder suspect

>Zane Gonzalez
A kicker. the browns are not even trying to conceal their incompetence with this one.

>Matthew Dayes
Unironically the 2nd most productive player in college the Browns drafted that didn't play in a shit conference.

Awful draft, the Browns should be relocated.

a.) LB wasn't a need
b.) Foster has a worse injury history than Ross and may start the season on IR recall
c.) Foster is on the zero tolerance list for NFL drug tests, will serve a long suspension if he gets caught even once. He got in trouble for pot at Bama, so this is likely
d.) Foster chimped out at a nurse because she wouldn't let him cut in line, he's the definition of an impulsive nig. So is Mixon but Ross literally is a gud boy and dindu nuffin

You're fucking retarded dude. The Bengals essentially got 3 first round talents, including a top 20 talent in John Ross and my #2 overall player based solely on talent in Joe Mixon in round 2. They transformed their entire offense, one that already included AJ Green and Tyler Eifert, in a single draft by snagging Ross and Mixon. The only issue with Ross is his medicals, but the medical staff obviously liked what they saw, so he's a fantastic pick at #9. It'll be hard for defenses to account for both AJ Green and John Ross, both guys who require safety help over the top, and that should open up the entire middle of the field for Tyler Eifert and Tyler Boyd. I really don't know how teams can play the Bengals without having two safeties deep at all times. Additionally, they got the steal of the draft with Joe Mixon in the 2nd. Mixon has the talent to become an all-pro runner his rookie year, a la Zeke, and if he stays out of trouble he'll be one of the best RBs in the league for the next decade. Plus, I had Carl Lawson graded as a first rounder and Cincy also got the freaky athletic Jordan Willis as well. This has the potential to be a transformative draft class. Quit bitching just because they didn't draft some undersized meme LB guaranteed to burn out like every Alabama defender

Willis was projected as a late first rounder by multiple sources too. Ross' injury history obviously didn't hurt him last year when he was 2nd in the NCAA in TDs or when he ran that 4.22 40. He's only missed one season, played every single game the other three. I trust our medical staff's opinion. As for Mixon, he has never had any domestic issues. He punched some drunk bitch who spit on him and called him a nigger, and was punished for it. He'll be fine

I unironically believe they have the talent to do it anon. The key to delivering on offense is a good O-line, which they now have. They have a good RB and set of WRs, all they need from their QB is a game manager. That takes pressure off of a rookie or young QB.

Their defense is suspect but its better than last year. They're a talented young team and its not crazy to think they could go to the playoffs in the next 3 seasons.

Cooks outproduced Edelman in both of the last two years, and did it while being criminally underutilized.

Edelman received an enormous target share with Gronk down and barely got passed a thousand yards.

Prescott's draft fall was due to other reasons. Much like Brady, everyone heralded his intangibles and production in college. They were skeptical of his measurables, the bullshit DUI, and ability to transition to the NFL.

Everybody thought Dak could only be a backup in the NFL.

Everyone now universally considers Brady to be the GOAT. He no longer has the motivation of everyone doubting him to fuel him which has propelled all of his success.

As such, Brady will quickly lose interest, Patriots will underachieve until Dak takes the mantle from Brady by beating him in the super bowl, and Brady will concede defeat and retire after intense introspection has guided him to the conclusion that he's done everything he can do in his career, and finally retire.
>>
>>75633562
So he is a stupid fucking nigger who cant control himself? He will fit right in with the Bengals.
>>
As far as I'm concerned, the Cowboys drafted 3 lower first round players with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round picks.

Lewis is the best press corner in the class, Taco is the third best DE in the class, and Chidobe is the best Nickel CB in the class and is effectively a OLB in how he can rush the QB/RB, and cover TEs, third best CB in the class.
>>
>>75633752
I got slapped on the dick by a chick once

Chidobe is also super fast and can play outside and safety.

It's gonna actually be Taco because the Cowboys picks who receive the most scrutiny usually end up becoming their best picks.
>>
>>75634050
Peppers is a legitimate meme and played LB most of the time. Undersized and not good in coverage.

Chidobe is great in coverage and can actually play FS plus OLB.
>>
>>75633989
Cowboys just simply drafted players that that are undervalued by most of the league, but will work well in Rod Marinelli's system.

Chinobe and Lewis are both undersized, but hugely productive in college, skilled, athletic, and feisty. Same as Anthony Brown. It's all about having good fits for the 4-2-5 scheme they like to run.

This delusion. It's like TB12 and the pats don't exist. Also, he's an amazing qb but it has taken extensive bits of luck and miraculousness for him to pull up the complete dead weight that is the GB football roster.
>>
>>75635502
i mean he could ball out and make the team but the Falcons have Ryan and just re-signed Schaub to be the backup

teams bring in 1 or 2 rookie QB's mainly so they have enough passers to run the drills during training camp, they likely have zero intention of keeping them once the preseason is over

I mean, you can if you want. But he's probably not going to make the final roster (which will be cut down from 90 to 53). At most, he'll be with the team for about ~4 months, during which time he won't even have the opportunity to play in a meaningful game.

I get the feeling the Pats won't make it to the Owl this year.

I can sense an Edeljew injury a brewin' and Gronk will, of course, be on IR before the playoffs -- not that necessarily need him.

Just a feeling.
