Well guys, at least we now know to literally never go to the bullpen before the 7th inning. We have Law, Strickland, and Melancon, and outside of that we have a literal dumpster fire. Pinch hitting for Cain might have "worked" in the sense Tomlinson got a hit and we scored some runs, but Cain had another inning in him and it wasn't worth it at all. Any other team with good middle relief and it would've been the right move to pinch hit for Cain, but not for us
