From memory there has only ever been one football result overturned after the event.
Down in Tasmania, Kangaroos vs. Dockers or something. The final siren went and wasn't heard by the umpires. Play continued for a few minutes and the leads changed before the game was signalled as finished.
That was overturned so the team leading when the siren first went was declared the winner.
