For me its Australia v Scotland in the 2015 RWC QF's

This still cuts pretty deep. I just hope >we get the crims again in 2019 to exact some revenge and hopefully bring some closure to that result.

It's funny too, because at the time all I could muster was a shitty forced smile and think 'typical Scotland'. That soon gave way to anger and then disgust at the team, Joubert and Foley.

Anyway I don't think Australia will lose to Scotland, even as they are now. Doubt 2019 will be any different unless something on the tier of 2003 SA happens to Australia or Scotland's new coach is better than his predecessor.

ROG never tackled particularly well, don't remember him throwing many screen passes. Barrett's defence is hardly solid, kicking isn't great at club level. Carter, Sexton, Barrett, even ROG have won games either single handedly or behind a beaten pack.

Conversely they have on occasions done none of those things and still won.

Fair points, but to say that Farrell is a bit part player for Saracens is an overstatement. He is integral to Saracens ability to strangle teams like they did Munster last Saturday. He's an incredibly good passer of the ball; he'll pretty much always give the right pass, whether that's a short delayed pop pass or double skip to a winger. He's also a brilliant kicker, both in live play and off the tee. His running game isn't as good as Barrett's obviously but it's alright. In all the basics of out half play he's top notch and Saracens would be a much worse team without him.

1995 will always be an asterisk on SA's RWC win. Poison or not can you really say you won when the entire opposite side was sick from your hospitality and were still withing 3 points.

iirc something about the samples being miss handled, they didn't match which was why he was labelled as a "drug cheat" even though all that they had said was the samples didn't match. There was an investigation into that but I haven't heard anything about that
