Every Florida fan will tell ya, we might not have bombastic wow moments, but the Gators have been getting the job done for the last two seasons, and winning the East was just the beginning. You could make the argument that Cowbell was a mistake for the SEC. Ole Miss and Mississippi State are both in North Mississippi, which is traditionally the least populated area of the state. The better addition to the SEC (and a better pair/match for Ole Miss) would be Southern Miss. On field performance confirms this as well as location:
