The city is pretty soulless cause of it being a corporate oil and gas place first, and lots of urban sprawl, but it is quite close to world class outdoor facilities (hiking, camping, skiing ect), overall pretty comfy but quite plain.

A lot of my Vegas friends say they're going to become fans but I can't get them to sit through a hockey game or learn the rules so I have a feeling they'll get bored and declare it a waste of money that they only go to on like 2 for 1 beer night or something.

That stadium is going to be either filled with the other team's fans or empty once the novelty wears off in the first few months. But I'll be happy to get cheap as fuck tickets.

It's also a pain in the ass to get to and park at, plus no public transportation, and no residential nearby. DUIs everywhere I'm sure.
